When you are looking for a sophisticated take on summer 2018 makeup, you can always count on luxury beauty brand, Rouge Bunny Rouge, to do it in style. The first product that I want to tell you about is their Aubades and Serenade, the Color-Matching Concentrate because it is one that you’ll truly appreciate at this time of year. This is a great foundation save when your complexion tans to customize foundation color to your needs. This product isn’t meant to be used alone substituting as a foundation or tinted moisturizer. It also can come in handy if you bought too pale of a liquid foundation that you need to deepen.

The formula is infused with beneficial skin treating ingredients like panthenol, vitamin E, witch hazel, and pansy for toning all skin types, moisturizing and anti-aging.

The Color-Matching Concentrate comes in one universal shade of Sonnet. The consistency of the pigment is a ropy, jellylike texture that blends beautifully with foundation. I have an overly pale foundation that I didn’t have the heart to throw out. A little of this concentrate made it wearable. The only problem that I noticed is too much can be dispensed so keep this in mind before pumping too hard.

The next product that I was happy to see was Rouge Bunny Rouge’s new shade of Pecan Milk Parfait to their Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation line. This color is a pale beige with soft pink tones that so many people will be thrilled to try. I have used the Almond Milk Parfait shade because my complexion does have warm undertones.

However, my facial complexion does change in color with more pink or paleness at certain times. I think it has a lot to do with exfoliation. As a result, I do switch foundations more than I used to with colors that never used to work so well with me in the past. This may sound strange, but this is what my face has been doing.

Anyway, the Pecan Milk Parfait wasn’t too pink at all but provided that welcomed boost of health, which was nice. It feels slightly darker than the Almond Milk Parfait and is perfect for me to wear right now.  What else I have to say about the Milk Aquarelle Liquid Foundation is that the coverage this provides virtually erases pores–at least it does on mine.

I have used the Raw Garden Eye Shadow Palettes in both gleaming versions with the Chronos and Phanes and loved the striking color combinations and long wear that you can read about from my earlier posts. The Luna Raw Garden Eye Shadow Palette is a lovely collection of five moon-inspired matte shades that are soft and haunting. Just like the gleaming Raw Garden Eye Shadow Palettes, the colors in these pans wear remarkably well, even longer when you prime first.

The colors overall range from refined beige with Payprus Canary for highlighting and Chestnut-napped Apalis, deeper in tone with more brown. Bashful Flamingo is a pale pink that has a brightening power. Sweet Dust Seriema is a dusty mauve taupe, the ideal one that you’ll want for contouring. Blackpepper Jay is a smoky black-brown to further help smoke out the eyes.

I thought the Luna effect was subtle and gave an understated elegance to my eyes. I truly prefer this soft polished look over the wilder bright shades such as lime green also popular this summer 2018.
